The Block Steakhouse is located inside the iconic, 100 year old Huon Manor on Short street, Huonville. The Block offers classic dishes with a modern twist in a casual, all-day dining venue that will seat around 80 guests inside and another 60 outside in comfort. The Block gets its name from the fond memories Chef and Owner Jonathan Bull has of an old butcher’s block he used to cut meat on in his younger days.
Jonathan has over 35 years of experience and has a real passion for Tasmanian quality produce, but particularly Tasmania’s stellar dry-aged100-year-old beef and Huon Salmon. Steaks can be done in most cuts and at a size that suits your appetite on the day. This means you will get a truly custom experience on every visit.
